Well-lit Urbex

by Kristi Hines · Arizona, Goodyear, HDR

There’s nothing like having just the right natural light when shooting urbex. The sun had risen just to the perfect point to illuminate the inside of Phoenix Trotting Park so we could find all the details.

Good God, I LOVE the shadows in this shot! Wow, there is just a ton to take in here Kristi, well seen & captured my friend! I love unanswered questions in photography, they let the imagination take a bit of a run. For me, the true bomb in this shot is the question mark that’s left behind for us… what’s around that corner? Seriously. Awesome work here.

I love it when people shoot quirky, out of the ordinary stuff. Well I guess out of the ordinary stuff for photographers but the ordinary every day stuff that surrounds us and which we rarely notice.
