Vegas Lights

by Kristi Hines · Las Vegas, Nevada

I have to apologize for my aberration from HDR lately. I *might* finally be getting over several weeks with mono, but during the weeks I had it (including this trip to Vegas), my main goal was conserving energy whenever possible. So instead of hauling around the tripod and my camera gear, I just did some freestyle shooting with my new 50 prime. I think it did really well for handheld!

Nice shot, Kristi. That new prime is doing the job for sure. I see the Mandalay Bay in the background, where I stayed in October for the BlogWorld Expo. This shot makes me want to get in a return trip. :-)

Sorry to hear you’ve been ill but glad you seem to be over it. I think I hear the Rat Pack starting up their show with Count Basie.
