The Tempe Light Rail

by Kristi Hines · Arizona, HDR, Tempe

Next on our Tempe Photowalk tour is the impressive light rail bridge and railroad track over Tempe Town Lake. In the background to the left of the V, you can also see the Hayden Flour Mill across the way. Ah, that building calls to me saying come in, photograph me – be a part of an ultimate urbex experience.

Everything in it looks fantastic. Thanks for pointing out the flour mill, I would have wondered what that was.

Wow, Kristi, I think this is my favorite photo of yours! I just love that purple hue in the columns on the left bridge there. And the cityscape really provides a ton of details to take in if you spend some time with your photo here. And finally, but certainly not least, those reflections in the lake there are absolutely crazy; some of the best EVER! Great shot, my friend!

Nice shot, Kristie. But I think they need to name it something other than “light” rail, because I really get a sense of the heaviness of this bridge, great angle.

Very cool perspective. At least the bridge designer did something special with the pillars of the bridge. Very nice
