The Shady Stump

by Kristi Hines · Arizona, Sedona

It’s not often you see something creepy during the day, but when the light in the woods falls just the right way, you’ll find it. In this case, it was a hollowed-out tree stump in the midst of the lovely fall colors. I had hoped to find an owl sleeping in it, but oh well.

I’d known about your blog and may have commented on some of your posts in the past, but only now did I know that you are into photography too. I have been wanting to put up a separate site for my photos but for now I dump them into my facebook account. Of course, there are times that I can’t help but post about photography matters in my blog.

Although I’ve been dabbling on and off with my Canon Rebel 2Ti for about a year, I still consider myself a beginner and is hungry for tutorials about the art. Whenever I see a cool picture such as the one you posted here, my mind asks what camera did he/she use? Lens? Settings? Post processing application?, etc.
