The Rock

by Kristi Hines · Arizona, Tempe

Before I get to today’s picture, I wanted to say THANK YOU to all of my visitors and commenters! I’ve had a rough time balancing commenting on everyone else’s sites and replying to comments on my own, so when push comes to shove I end up choosing to come see all of your awesome pictures instead! I hope you don’t mind, because I sincerely love all of my comments here and love to see your work as well! 🙂

Today’s photo is simply called the rock for obvious reasons. It was just a random thing that caught my eye while out at Tempe Town Lake. Seemed like one of those rocks someone would have in their yard as decor with it’s almost perfect shape.

That is a beauty, Kristi.
Well rounded by nature, it reminds me of a huge egg. Nice texture and tones.
Will you adopt this as your pet rock? LOL

A nice simple shot Kristi, that you’ve captured wonderfully. Love those details!

Nice shot! Like the shadows.

It actually does kinda look like a rock I have – in my backyard though.

It’s hard to keep up with everything when there is so much great photo content going around. Clean processing!

Balancing our time seems to be one of the hardest things to master.
As long as you keep you foundation as hard as a “Rock” everything works out.

Random but well done. I like it.

Keeping up with the fantastic work our e-friends post everyday while fun can be a quite time consuming task and striking the right balance is something I find difficult at times too.

Nice minimalist image today, that solid rock really stands out from the darker background!

Kristi… I was wondering how you managed to to do everything. I thought you hired someone to comment for you! I do this for a living and I only comment in spurts, easier for me that way.

People do that – hire out someone to comment for them. Seems wrong though – I wouldn’t want anyone “representing” me I guess. I like the fact that people know if they see me say something, it’s really me. 🙂
