This weekend, we traveled to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon after a nice snowfall. If you have ever wanted to see deer, this is the best time. I thought I was lucky to see about 9 early in the morning, but by the end of the day, we had probably seen around 40 in various places (including one group of about 15 just running through the snow-covered woods. This group was grazing and not too concerned about us taking pictures of them.
