After I had become comfortable enough with my surroundings at the Black Canyon Greyhound Park, I started sneaking into the darker rooms behind the ticket counter. Not the pitch black rooms, mind you, but the ones that had some natural light coming into them. Next time I’ll remember to bring a flashlight!

Awesome HDR Work. Love the details and the tones.

Thanks Ness!
Awesome work! I like how you can even see some of the studs in the wall on the right side. Nice shot!

Thanks Chris! This shot was actually shot a lot wider, but I cropped it down so those kinds of details would stand out!
Great Urbex shot, Kristi!

Thanks Chris! I’m really digging the urbex now!
I’m jealous I wish there was something like this down here in S. Florida. Most places are torn down if they ever get this bad.

I agree! A place in my area is there one day and then gone the next. It’s a big frustrating as I want to shoot places like this so bad. Gotta bring it into my awareness

That’s too bad. There’s a lot of buildings like that here in AZ, and apparently a lot in Philadelphia from what I’ve noticed on other blogs.
Isn’t it great when you find stuff like this, and your camera is with you? Nice shot, really cool. Jim
I would have never come to this place without my camera. And now I never leave home without it so I have it just in case.
Nice one Kristi. I remember this room. It smelled… “odd”.

I didn’t notice a smell Rick, but that’s probably because I was hopped up on Zyrtec for my allergies.
Very nice shot, Kristi.
This must have been like being in a fun house.

I’ve never actually been in a circus-type fun house Jimi, but there was lots to discover!
Nice shot! Love the textures on the pipes. This is another image that would work great with Focal Point!

I’m starting to feel that Focal Point would enhance just about everything Chris.
Glad to hear such great recommendations for it so far!
Nice find, and a clean look.

Thanks Mark! For a place without a lot of colors, it was a nice change!
Great shot, your urbex keep getting better and better.

Thanks Ryan! Glad to know I’m making good progress!
Just love this shot Kristi, the line on the wall leads right to the great details in the pipes in the back of the scene, well composed and captured!
Thanks Dave! I was very proud of this one after some cropping and processing!
You’re finding some great subjects to create some awesome photography!

I still have lots of places to explore with my camera too Scott!
Great image. I did one of the same set of pipes, but I was much tighter, I think I like your comp better.

I’ll have to check out yours too then Scott. I thought about going into the room, then got distracted by all the mail behind the counter and forgot to go back.
Whew! What great details. Glad my house doesn’t look like that, though.
