Monsoon Lightning

A week ago I shot my first bolt of lightning. Fast forward to this weekend and I now have several awesome lightning photos, but by far, this one was my favorite. Thank you monsoon season for giving me (and Jason) lots of electrical magic to practice with!

I wish we had a little monsoon up north! :) This image showcases just how small we are compared to mother nature. Those lightning streams are tremendous!

It looks like it’s absolutely alive, Kristi! What an incredible photograph! As I mentioned in Jason’s shot, I love the city in the bottom of the frame there, it really adds so much drama & context to the scene.
