Inside a Slot Canyon

by Kristi Hines · Utah

Over the holiday, I got to experience my first slot canyon. I really didn’t get my husband’s enthusiasm about them (he has a nice collection of slot canyon photos) until I went through one myself. By the end of our trip, we had went through three and I figured out why he loved them so much! This was a shot inside the first one.

Great shot. I bet HDR type photography would do well in the canyons.

Your photos reminds me how many places I haven’t visited in Arizona. I recently went to 3 different national monuments near Flagstaff. It’s amazing how the scene changed over time.

Nice shot! I love the curve and composition.
