Going Up

by Kristi Hines · Arizona, Goodyear, HDR

Today’s image from Phoenix Trotting Park is of an interesting escalator. One of my goals when shooting with Jason is to try to get a different perspective, and in this case, I did. The blue of the railing just caught my eye, and as I shot it at different angles, I found the perfect spot where you could see the blue peeking through at the top.

Be sure to stay tuned – more images from inside are still to come! Also, don’t miss Jason’s pics from Trotting Park too!

Love how the warped escalator handle leads your eye to the next floor and separates the blues! Wonderfully composed vertical shot.

Awesome perspective here, Kristi, I too love that blue railing when juxtaposed against the eroded facility! Amazing work here you guys! Really love the composition, too, the way you’ve put all the lines into a perspective that really is mesmerizing for the viewer here. Very dramatic, I love it!
