Downtown Tempe at Night

by Kristi Hines · Arizona, HDR, Tempe

While my hubby was shooting the light rail bridge, I thought I would take a shot of downtown Tempe. At the center of it is the Hayden Flour Mill, an abandoned building just begging for a little exploration. From what I’ve read it’s pretty locked down though with video surveillance and/or live security, which is a damn shame!

Great shot, Kristi! I like the lights on the bridge and the reflections in the water. Did you use a tripod for this shot?

Nice! I have never looked at the bridge from the other side of the town lake.

Ha. I need a faster computer to process HDR image. 🙂

I just love this image Kristi! There is a huge element of “I wonder what’s inside that mill!” which is totally tempered with the wonderful sharp image of the city skyline and the colors you’ve captured here! This is fabulous!!!
