You can say this about a lot of various scenes around Vegas, but this particular thought ran through my mind when I was watching these birds.

The inside of the Bellagio holds a lot of beautiful art to photograph freely, including this colorful glass display of huge blossoms located above the registration area.

I have to apologize for my aberration from HDR lately. I *might* finally be getting over several weeks with mono, but during the weeks I had it (including this trip to Vegas), my main goal was conserving energy whenever possible. So instead of hauling around the tripod and my camera gear, I just did some freestyle shooting with my new 50 prime. I think it did really well for handheld!

Inside Caesar’s Palace’s Forum Shops is a huge aquarium. I don’t miss seeing this place every time I go because I absolutely love the stingrays. The reason is because of their happy looking underbelly which they love to rub up on the glass.

I’ve always wanted to be surrounded by sunflowers as they are my favorite flowers. I haven’t had that opportunity yet, but I did get to create the effect at the Conservatory in the Bellagio.

I probably should have looked around for a little plaque to tell me what this gentleman represented, but I just took the shot and kept moving along. He stands outside New York New York casino in Vegas, always looking up above the strip.

One of the perks of getting a room on the 18th floor at Treasure Island during a conference was the view of the hotel across the way. I also got a good view of fireworks flying by the window from the Sirens show at night. Definitely not the hotel you want to stay at if you need to sleep. But then again, who sleeps in Vegas?

Whenever you walk around the Las Vegas strip during a weekday (when you’ve had about enough of a conference), you get the opportunity to do some fun things like lay down in front of a usually busy entrance to get a different perspective of architecture.
