January 2011

You can find beauty everywhere, even on your way to work. One lucky morning, I stumbled upon a hummingbird’s nest in the trees right outside my office doors. I got to watch the journey from when these birds were only eggs in the nest to the day that they flew off to start building nests of their own. A truly wonderful bird-watching experience that happened in an otherwise mundane place.

While driving out to see some snow (rare in the Phoenix metro area), I stopped to take this photo of a tall cactus while the sun was peeking through some clouds near Cave Creek, Arizona.
